Block Shift Supervisor

Our products protect human life andpersonal property, improve the quality of life, generate economicprosperityand connect society.We are looking forskilledand motivated Shift Supervisor in our Tampa concrete block manufacturing facility.This position will report to the Plant Manager and will help to provide supervision across a 3-shift block manufacturing operation.Supervises the maintenance of plant andproductionsfacilities.Manages personnel and equipment safely to achieve the maximum level of efficiency and productivity.Maintains an adequate supply of material inventory to minimize downtime.Maintains compliance with organization policies and safety standards.Encourages efficientutilizationof equipment and facilities.Exercises general supervision with respect to production volume, cost and quality of production, meeting productionschedulesand delivery rates.Maintains up to date files on OSHA, EPA,personneland other pertinent information.Contributes to the maintenance of operational policies and procedures including hiring andterminating,schedulingand assigning work, measuringperformanceanddeterminingpay.Must be safety conscious and a champion for safetyAbility to apply moderately complex mathematical equations as applicable.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Working knowledge of computers,spreadsheetsand word processing.Strong interpersonal, customer service, and leadership skills.High School diploma or equivalent; 3-5 years job-related prior experience.Knowledge of Block Manufacturing equipmentTitan America is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) / Affirmative Action employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
