This role helps manage the execution of the strategic plans that move innovative products from concept to the shelves of our independent retailers. This role is responsible for supporting the many aspects of everyday maintenance of our product lines from updating labels, to developing marketing and sales materials, to responding to Field Sales requests. The nature of this role involves significant cross-functional interaction with many groups inclusive of Sales, Supply Chain/Planning, R&D, Regulatory, and various other functions within Marketing.Key ResponsibilitiesSupports the Senior Product Manager in portfolio management through successful product launches in order to ultimately drive long-term sales growth, increase market share, and support our independent channelOversee the product formulation process with R&D team to ensure business goals are metLeads end-to-end product launch initiatives, including product testing, market trials, national rollout planning, sales forecasting, SKU setup, development of product messaging for collateral, and creation of detailed creative briefsOversee product content developed throughout the organization to ensure consistent messaging and positioningOversee label creation and modification projectsResponsible for sales and retailer communications associated with your portfolio including announcements of new products, product improvements and advancements, new marketing materials, website changes and any other updatesDevelop and analyze sales reports and trendsContinuously assess market trends and the competitive landscapeWork with Market Research team to gather the necessary information to inform product portfolio strategyQualificationsRequired Knowledge & Desired Skills3-5 years of product management, marketing or sales experienceBachelor’s DegreeCommitment to a customer-first approachTechnical and paint application knowledge a plusDetail oriented with strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining excellence in execution, and delivering projects on timeExcellent interpersonal skills for interacting both within the marketing function, within the company, and with external agencies and customersThrives in a collaborative team environment while managing projects to a timelineMust be able to demonstrate strong written, presentation and oral communication skills across various levels of the businessExcellent analytical skills with the ability to translate analytics into actionable recommendations and resultsAbility to regularly travel to our R&D facility in Flanders, New Jersey.Ability to travel, as needed, for trade shows, retail visits, and end-user testing throughout North America. Travel is approximately 20%.Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS WordUSD $75,000.00 - USD $96,000.00 /Yr.
