Books, produces and edits taped interview segments as assigned.Actively incorporates various perspectives and voices into the editorial process.Identifiesomissions in our coverage andsuggestsways to mitigate them.Produces podcastversionof the program and web posts asassigned.Assistswith producing show content for other digital platforms.Createsshow web posts working with the KUT News digital team.Works with host,managingproducer, editorialandprogrammingteam to develop novel and innovative ways to present content online, on social media, and on air.Ensures that all content produced by the Austin Signal team meets KUT standards of accuracy,fairnessand balance.Other duties as assigned.Fills in for Managing Producer to direct the show, approve audio elements for air, set the show rundown with the host, and prepare for the next show.Works to ensure the consistent flow of communicationamongthe Austin Signal and KUT News team and with partners like the Texas Newsroom.Reports as assigned. Creates, coordinates,writesand produces original news segments.Assistwith daily promos and other content. Covers live events as assigned.
