Data Analyst III

Description We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst III to join our remote team on a long-term contract. This role involves conducting detailed financial analyses, identifying trends, and delivering actionable recommendations that drive business success. The ideal candidate will independently collaborate with multiple business groups and top-tier stakeholders to enhance processes and implement data-driven solutions. Responsibilities: u2022 Perform in-depth analyses to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve business processes. u2022 Present findings through clear summaries, visualizations, and discussions, gaining stakeholder commitment for implementation. u2022 Develop advanced data models and programs to support complex business analyses. u2022 Collaborate with business partners to assess information needs and translate them into actionable projects. u2022 Retrieve, verify, and prepare data from multiple sources for analysis, ensuring accuracy and reliability. u2022 Create comprehensive queries, tools, and spreadsheets to support management decision-making. u2022 Compile reports, graphs, and charts to forecast trends and recommend process improvements. u2022 Act as a liaison for departmental projects, sharing expertise and supporting cross-functional initiatives. u2022 Mentor less experienced staff by providing guidance on assignments and training. u2022 Deliver data insights to external agencies, vendors, and stakeholders when required. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics. u2022 Minimum of five years of relevant experience, including two years in data analysis; a Masteru2019s degree may substitute for experience. u2022 Strong understanding of business processes and systems. u2022 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and macros. u2022 Experience with databases and creating PowerPoint presentations with data visualizations. u2022 Highly skilled in programming languages such as R for data analysis. u2022 Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and teams. u2022 Ability to recommend improvements based on data-driven insights and statistical analysis.
