What Will You Be Doing?The Revenue Analytics Analyst II develops analytical tools and statistical models to optimize Frontiers revenue generation and profitability. The Analyst will be responsible for building data pipelines & coding automated reporting processes, creating data visualizations and documentations, identifying and quantifying revenue opportunities, and crafting clear presentations to management. As an integral part of Frontiers success, Revenue Analytics Analysts receive high visibility by senior management and enjoy a range of formal training and informal learning opportunities to support ongoing professional development and career growth.Essential FunctionsLeverage big data, capabilities in cloud environments, and multiple sources of data to identify signals and integrate those signals into modeling for explication, prediction, or productionManage big data and multiple data sources to design, execute, and deliver reports and automated processes to identify inconsistencies and capture revenue opportunitiesIdentify & quantify revenue opportunities across the organizationWork with PRM teams to identify new opportunities and deliver actionable analytics solutions to drive precise action and maintain competitive advantage (may include focus on one or multiple of the following PRM teams: Pricing, Yield Management, Revenue Integrity, Distribution, and/or Ancillary)Create documentations, code standards, code library and workflows, where industrialized processes are necessary Collaborate with diverse teams and improve business processConstruct statistical models and present findings to relevant stakeholders Develop dynamic and flexible visualizations and dashboards to illustrate key trends and KPIsWork with a wide variety of teams with diverse technical backgroundsEnhance the Revenue Analytics infrastructure by implementing best practice coding & structureManage ETL process in new and existing data pipelines to create clean datasets for use in analysisWrite clean, efficient code to automate processesMentor more junior team members, and foster the development of their programming and analytics skillsConduct ad-hoc projects, reports and analyses as determined by managementSet the standard for the broader team in thought processes and analytical outputAchieve expert status in business and industry trendsClearly communicate the actionable business implications of complex quantitative analyses to senior managementLead change across the organization by improving directly owned processes and taking initiative to champion cross-functional opportunitiesOther FunctionsInteract with commercial team and cross-departmental teams to maximize revenue.QualificationsBachelors Degree required; major(s) in Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Aviation Management or related analytical field strongly preferred; combination of education and work experience considered in lieu of degreeMasters degree in quantitative field preferredPrevious professional use of SQL, Python or R Previous professional use of statistical analysis software required (including, but not limited to SAS, R or MATLAB)Previous professional experience using big data required1 to 3 years of experience in data analytics, finance, pricing, or revenue management requiredExperience in an airline pricing, yield- or revenue management, revenue analytics, revenue systems, or similar role strongly preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesIntermediate to advanced programming skills, with knowledge of SQL, R or Python strongly preferredAbility to write SQL code to query against disparate data sourcesAdvanced proficiency in ExcelExperience with Power BI or Tableau preferredKnowledge or interest in statistics or machine learning preferredStrong organizational skills and the ability to keep track of several projects at onceAdvanced analytical and quantitative skills; demonstrated understanding of airline commercial metrics, economics, network design and revenue management principlesExemplary written and verbal communication and presentation skillsAbility to independently prioritize analyses in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility to structure logical analytical approaches and to apply a range of quantitative techniques to solve business problems in an efficient, timely mannerComfortable working self-sufficiently to creatively solve analytical challenges with limited data and imminent deadlinesStrong work ethic; delivers results in ambiguous, time-pressured situationsSound judgment and ability to maintain composure under pressureEquipment OperatedStandard office equipment, including PC, copier, fax machine, printerWork EnvironmentTypical office environment, adequately heated and cooledPhysical EffortGenerally, not required.Supervision ReceivedGeneral Supervision: The incumbent performs a variety of routine work within established policies and procedures and receives detailed instructions on new projects and assignments.Salary Range: $62,000 - $86,366.
