We serve patients with Movement Disorders,Headaches, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuromuscular Disease, SleepDisorders, Stroke, Vascular, Memory along with a vast Neurosurgery teamThe Staff RN-Ambulatory Clinics works collaboratively as an activemember of the interprofessional team to provide therapeutic patient andfamily centered care. The Staff RN-Ambulatory Clinics systematically andcontinuously collects and assesses data related to patient health statusto develop, execute and evaluate the plan of care. The StaffRN-Ambulatory Clinics utilizes evidence to drive clinical decisions andpractice related to individual and population health. The StaffRN-Ambulatory Clinics establishes goals and strategies for meeting carecoordination needs across settings with the patient, family, and/orother care providers. The Staff RN-Ambulatory Clinics considers factorsrelated to safety, effectiveness and fiscal accountability in planningand delivering care. The Staff RN-Ambulatory Clinics delegates andsupervises care in accordance with the WI Nurse Practice. The StaffRN-Ambulatory Clinics participates in continuous quality improvementinitiatives and assum es responsibility for their professionaldevelopment. Major accountabilities of this role include patient carecoordination, direct patient care, patient education, telephonetriage/eVisits, and performing/assisting with in-clinic minorprocedures. May float to other areas on as needed for operations need.Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Clinical experienceand/or interest in the care and management of patient populationsspecific to the area of employment. At least 1 year of relevant nursingexperience is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Nursing licensurerequired. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred. LICENSUREDESCRIPTION: Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered NurseLicense or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in theNLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) BasicLife Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approvedequivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
