Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Periop Supply Chain, this individual will be the primary resource for managing the vendor implant room as well as the vendor credential system. This role supports both the Supply Chain and the surgical operating room areas. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures Other information: Required Job Qualifications: u2022 High school diploma /GED required; Two years of Healthcare Supply Chain experience highly preferred. u2022 Knowledge of computer applications and software programs, including MS-Office (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel), Internet Applications u2022 Knowledge of inventory control processes. u2022 Basic understanding of clinical terms and procedures. u2022 Ability to multitask under pressure and meet strict deadlines. u2022 Superior organizational & communicative skills with close attention to detail. Preferred Job Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree u2022 Previous experience in a Surgical Supply Chain setting u2022 Knowledge of computer applications and software programs, including MS-Office (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel), Internet Applications, and a basic understanding of inventory management systems. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Must be able to walk long distances. It is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities, or requirements. Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for monitoring the Green Security vendor credentialing platform. This platform will be utilized by the Inventory Control Analyst to report and monitor who is entering the surgical areas in order to track and enforce safety protocols instituted by Rush Medical Center. Daily activities will include, but are not limited to: u2022 Assists with providing new vendors with access to the platform, profile setup, and direction with navigating the Operating Room u2022 Daily check-in of the Green Security Platform to monitor for notifications u2022 Maintain vigilance and ensure surgical vendors are maintaining compliance with the institutionu2019s health policy requirements u2022 Round operating room areas to ensure adequate PPE is available to meet Rush OR protocol u2022 Acts as a liaison between the Rush Health System for Green Security- will travel between sites as needed 2. Responsible for the management of the Atrium Vendor Implant Room u2022 Maintain updated logs of vendors and associated inventory u2022 Maintain inventory integrity with owned implant inventory stored within the implant room u2022 Escalate vendor-related issues to associated clinical, Supply Chain, and SPD leadership u2022 Communicate with vendor couriers for drop-offs/pick-ups u2022 Interacts with clinical staff and vendors in a cordial and professional manner u2022 Must maintain environmental cleanliness and order in the implant room 3. Attend quarterly EOC rounds to ensure compliance from a Supply Chain perspective Rush is an equal opportunity employer.
