Sr Planner, Campus Planning

Reporting to the Executive Director of Campus Planning, the SeniorPlanner will support Boston University's (BU) overall mission ofeducation and research. As a key team member within Planning, Design andConstruction (PDC), this position will serve the full range of BostonUniversity's real estate portfolio which includes nearly 15 millionsquare feet and over 140 acres of land. The Planning team leads physicalplanning, programming, and placemaking in support of BostonUniversity's (BU) overall mission of education and research. Space isan essential university asset, and the department acts as stewards ofthe university's resources. The Senior Planner will bring a holisticapproach to planning, grounded in BUs strategic vision and values, andbalanced with technical and regulatory requirements. This position willwork closely with academic and auxiliary partners for short- andlong-term planning to enable emerging research directions, changes ineducational delivery, and enhancements to student life and learning. TheSenior Planner will be integral to the public approvals process incollaboration with many university stakeholders, including Governmentand Community Affairs and the Office of General Counsel.
