FP&A Analyst with Power BI

Description We are looking for an experienced FP& A Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will take the lead in transforming complex data into actionable insights through dynamic dashboards and reports. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to design and implement data-driven solutions that support strategic financial and operational decision-making. Must have recent experience building dashboards using Power BI. This is a 1-month contract assignment. 100% REMOTE. Must have Power BI expertise. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and implement Power BI dashboards and reports from the ground up to support financial and operational analysis. u2022 Extract, clean, and organize data from multiple sources, including Microsoft Business Central, to ensure accuracy and reliability. u2022 Create data models and visualizations for key areas such as freight cost analysis, inventory management, sales reporting, cash forecasting, and year-over-year performance. u2022 Build scalable reporting solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and workflows. u2022 Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and prioritize reporting requirements. u2022 Provide ad-hoc financial planning and analysis (FP& A) support as needed to address urgent business inquiries. u2022 Work with unstructured data to produce clear and actionable reporting outputs. u2022 Document processes and logic behind dashboards for future reference and knowledge sharing. u2022 Present examples of previous dashboard projects to demonstrate technical expertise and creativity. Requirements u2022 Proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, dashboard design, and source connections. u2022 Strong familiarity with Microsoft Business Central or similar ERP systems. u2022 Proven experience in transforming raw datasets into clean and analyzable formats. u2022 Knowledge of financial and operational metrics, such as inventory, sales, cash flow, and accounts receivable/payable. u2022 Ability to work independently and solve complex data issues with minimal supervision. u2022 Experience supporting FP& A teams or financial reporting processes is preferred. u2022 Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with executive stakeholders. u2022 Ability to showcase prior dashboard projects that highlight technical skills and innovation.
