Accounts Receivable Analyst

Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in the service industry, focusing on customer payment solutions and account management. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring timely collections, resolving payment barriers, and maintaining positive customer relationships. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage assigned past-due accounts by adhering to established collections policies and procedures. u2022 Investigate and resolve payment barriers by coordinating with customers and internal teams to address invoicing issues, payment methods, or account discrepancies. u2022 Conduct thorough research of delinquent accounts, collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer claims. u2022 Identify root causes of non-payment and determine appropriate actions to resolve issues effectively. u2022 Utilize customer service tools and systems to respond promptly to inquiries, troubleshoot problems, and provide educational guidance. u2022 Document customer interactions, findings, and progress in Salesforce or VersaPay platforms. u2022 Communicate clearly and accurately with customers and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates and closing communication loops. u2022 Escalate complex cases to appropriate teams or individuals and provide proactive follow-up for resolution. u2022 Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to enhance collaboration and problem-solving. u2022 Continuously learn and apply knowledge of business processes to achieve organizational and individual goals. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. u2022 Minimum of three years of experience in a similar or equivalent role. u2022 Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach. u2022 Familiarity with invoicing and payment portal software, such as Salesforce or VersaPay. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. u2022 Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly. u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented approach. u2022 Preferred experience in customer service, finance, or contract specialist roles.
