We're looking for people who agree that in addition totechnical excellence, it's all about relationships We have anopportunity available for a dynamic HR Intern working Part-Time in ourMilwaukee Corporate Office who will work under the general direction ofour HR Director. Working in a collaborative fast-paced firm, thisposition requires an individual with the capability to maintain thehighly confidential nature of HR activities, and the ability to convey apositive, professional, and friendly image to all our employees. Our HRIntern will be an integral part of our team and enjoy a variety of HRtasks. This position would be part time during the school year, working10 to 20 hours a week or more based on availability and could evolveinto full time over the summer and breaks. HR Intern responsibilitieswill include: Assist with benefit administration. Tasks may include:auditing, communicating with insurance vendors, and assisting employeeswith benefit questions. Process employee information changes in the HRISfor accuracy. Assist with recruiting by scheduling interviews, startingbackground checks, and posting positions. Assist with attending careerfairs at a variety of schools. Maintain employee data and personnelfiles and assist with responding to requests for employee data(employment verification, reference checks, etc. Involvement in new hireorientations and onboarding tasks as needed. Maintaining HR content onthe company's intranet. Assist in the planning and coordination ofvarious employee welfare opportunities which include wellnessinitiatives and corporate event planning Involvement with preparingoffboarding paperwork and assist with offboarding tasks. Assist withreconciling departmental credit card receipts and submitting requireddocumentation to the Finance team. Provide assistance on a variety ofmiscellaneous projects as assigned.
