As a Purchasing Specialist, youu2019ll support our Preferred Partners by guiding them through contracts, providing training, and assisting with day-to-day purchasing needs. Job Responsibilities: Support Our Vendor Partnerships + Onboard new Preferred Partners by preparing contracts and guiding them through each step + Keep contract documents organized, updated, and routed to the right teams + Collect required waiver/lien releases + Train partners on our processes and tools, including the Weekley Partner Hub Keep Our Purchasing Operations Running Smoothly + Research and resolve variance issues with accuracy and urgency + Create extra orders, back-charges, and returns as needed + Assist partners with payment questions and job reassignments + Place and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery + Provide information to support rebate submissions for our National Strategic Sourcing Team Be a Key Part of Our Construction Workflow + Partner with Construction Field Supervisors and internal teams to support the starts process + Prepare weekly and monthly reports + Track starts, communicate updates, and help manage changes throughout the process Qualifications + Prior experience or demonstrated interest in purchasing, construction, or homebuilding is preferred; training will be provided for strong candidates + Strong organizational abilities with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail + Professional communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with team members and Preferred Partners Additional Information .
