Summary: Job Summary: The Associate IT Business Analyst has expertise in both information technology and business administration. Responsible for enhancing the quality of IT process, products, and services. Duties include performing detailed requirement analysis, documenting processes, finding technological solutions to business needs, and performing some user acceptance testing. The Associate IT Business Analyst is comfortable meeting with all levels of IT and Business stakeholders; has exceptional interpersonal skills, and functions as a communications link between IT and Business units. While this role is titled IT Business Analyst, it requires a blend of business analysis, PMO operations support, and solution engineering skills to translate process needs into scalable, well-designed solutions. Helping ensure that tools, processes, and reporting evolve together as the PMO matures. Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or related experience. 2. A minimum of 2-5 years of business analyst or related experience 3. Experience working with the ServiceNow suite specifically the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) tool 4. Excellent problem- solving skills 5. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal skills 6. Experience with using a variety of IT technologies, including MS Office suite. Responsibilities: 1. Liaising between the IT department and the business units. 2. Evaluates and documents business workflows, anticipating requirements and understanding important strategic business needs. 3. Conducts meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings. 4. Acts as an information source and communicator. 5. Analyzes the design of technical systems, software expectations, and business models, working with vendors, IT teams and business stakeholders. 6. Shape business requirements and KPIs by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions. 7. Creates and maintains reports to represent vendors, costs, and processes. 8. Updates, implements, and maintains IT department procedures, such as onboarding. 9. Prioritizes initiatives based on business needs and balances resources and priorities. 10. Act as coordinator, providing oversight for the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solution ensuring compliance, timeliness, and issue escalation. 11. Provide assistance with budget model development, aggregation, and reporting utilizing MS Excel 12. Assist with the employee onboarding process including updating the tracking board, employee status follow-up, candidate interview scheduling and interview feedback tracking 13. Assist with and coordinate departmental team events including scheduling, vendor follow up and ordering, working with communication analyst for announcements 14. Maintaining departmental email and distribution lists 15. Act as coordinator for key employee engagement activities, tools and processes including assisting with survey creation, distribution and follow upu00b7 Liaising between the IT department and the Other Responsibilities + business units-acts as an information source and communicator. + Translate current-state processes into future-state workflows aligned to PMO governance and delivery maturity + Support iterative requirements development for intake, demand management, project delivery, reporting, and resource forecasting + Maintain clear documentation including process flows, field definitions, configuration decisions, and data mappings + Evaluates and documents business workflows, anticipating requirements and understanding important strategic business needs. + Assist with identifying questions risks, or gaps in requirements before work begins by conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings. + Support PMO standards, best practices, and governance models across portfolios, programs, and projects + Analyzes the design of technical systems, software expectations, and business models, working with IT teams and business stakeholders. + Act as a bridge between business and engineering teams, ensuring requirements are understood and technically feasible. + Translate requirements into technical solutions by documenting integration points, data flows and non-functional requirements, (availability, scalability, security). + Assist in shaping business requirements and KPIs by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions. + Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and balances resources and priorities. + Support data quality, consistency, and ongoing governance of PMO-related data + Assist with UAT planning and execution. + Aid with budget model development, aggregation, and reporting utilizing MS Excel + Act as coordinator for key employee engagement activities, tools and processes including assisting with survey creation, distribution and follow-up + Assist with training materials, job aids, and enablement content for project managers and stakeholders Rush is an equal opportunity employer.
