The Department of Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center and the BostonUniversity Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (CASOM) is seekingan allergist-immunologist for appointment as Assistant or AssociateProfessor. The position, in the Pulmonary/Allergy Division of theDepartment of Pediatrics, involves the full scope of outpatientallergy/immunology as well as providing inpatient consultation at BostonMedical Center, the major teaching hospital for the medical school.Teaching responsibilities include medical students, residents, and A/Ifellows in ambulatory, inpatient, and didactic settings. There will bedynamic collaboration with the clinical and teaching activities of theAdult Allergy/Immunology Program, including opportunities to care foradult patients if desired. The Pediatric and Internal MedicineDepartments are centers of excellence for care of children and adults inan urban setting. Boston University Medical Campus is comprised ofBoston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, BostonUniversity School of Public Health, Boston University School ofDentistry and Boston Medical Center, the main teaching affiliate ofCASOM. Boston Medical Center is located in Boston?s Historic South EndDistrict and provides care to a large urban population with a strongconnection to our community health center network. Candidates should beBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy/Immunology and should beeager to engage in clinical practice, teaching, quality improvement, andresearch.
