Provide support to the wastewater, stormwater and drinking water asset management programs, energy programs and other sustainability initiatives as needed. Assist with incorporating vulnerability assessment findings into municipal asset management programs. Develop state-wide program for technical assistance and outreach for hazard mitigation and the resultant vulnerabilities for water infrastructure to increase both awareness and implementation of adaptation measures.YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS: Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree and 6.5 years of experience OR equivalent combination of 10.5 years of education and experience after completion of high school. Education and experience must be in the fields of environmental science, natura resources, marine/coastal or earth science, sustainability, community planning, engineering or a related field.License/Certification: Valid drivers licenseOther Requirements: NoneTrainee Option: Not applicablePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Familiarity with fundamentals of climate science and its impacts on natural, built, and human systems; with wastewater, stormwater and drinking water infrastructure; energy efficiency; renewable energy; and with the principles of asset management. The successful candidate must have the ability to work well within a team environment; and must have excellent interpersonal, group facilitation, presentation, writing and communications skills. Administrative and organizational abilities with a strong attention to detail are also needed.
