Procurement Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This Contract to permanent position offers an opportunity to contribute to team operations by ensuring efficient and accurate procurement processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare requisitions to acquire goods and services in alignment with organizational needs. u2022 Evaluate purchase justifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements. u2022 Create receipts for goods and services that have been delivered and meet quality standards. u2022 Respond to inquiries regarding the status of supplier invoice payments and resolve any discrepancies. u2022 Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Procurement and Accounts Payable teams. u2022 Review and process procurement requests submitted by various departments. u2022 Investigate and resolve procurement-related issues efficiently and effectively. u2022 Collaborate with vendors to manage relationships and ensure seamless transactions. u2022 Monitor purchase orders and requisitions to ensure timely fulfillment. u2022 Support organizational goals by maintaining procurement documentation and records with precision. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in handling requisitions and purchase orders. u2022 Familiarity with managing vendor relationships and procurement activities. u2022 Strong understanding of invoice processing and accounts payable functions. u2022 Ability to review and process procurement requests with attention to detail. u2022 Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to dynamic situations. u2022 Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and vendors. u2022 Proficiency in maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation.
