Eatonu2019s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Senior Planner at our Los Angeles, CA facility The expected annual salary range for this role is $99000 - $145000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What youu2019ll do: Performs diversified duties related to MRP planning, scheduling, and expediting finished goods and components in order to support strategic inventory goals and to ensure on time delivery of customer orders. Requires judgment in anticipating future requirements through analysis and interpretation of current production status. Manages the inventory and production plan for a given product group to optimize and meet plant goals. In this function you will: u2022 Initiates required documentation and / or system transactions to allocate, purchase, internally manufacture or reschedule material as required. u2022 Plan and release work orders as required to meet customer orders while maintaining optimum lead time and inventory level. u2022 Track critical items through SAP system to ensure revenue plan is met and PD continues to drop u2022 Proactively identifies and reports potential problems which will result in not meeting deadlines, or which may result in potential quality problems. u2022 Performs clerical duties necessary to maintain work order WIP accuracy. u2022 Drives shortage meetings with a cross functional team and expedites material where required to meet shortfall between current plan and customer order requirements. u2022 Balances current and future demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities / capacities to ensure on-time completion of customer requirements. u2022 Communicates close with Purchasing Team to ensure uninterrupted flow to support Master Schedule u2022 Working with cross-functional teams to clear up Quality issues and returns to customers Qualifications: Required Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree from accredited institution u2022 Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory control, purchasing, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping / receiving u2022 Experience with an MRP system u2022 Must be eligible to work in the US without company sponsorship u2022 This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
