This critical role is the architect and administrator of our performance framework, owning the end-to-end performance management lifecycle. Your expertise will be vital in managing the processes that directly link individual performance to business success and ensures the seamless integration of our performance outcomes with our compensation and talent strategies.u00a0LocationYou will work from our Headquarters in Detroit, MIu00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Responsibilitiesu00a0u00a0u00a0Your Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and manage the company's annual and year-round performance review process, including goal setting, check-ins, and year-end evaluations. Conduct follow-up reviews of all completed appraisals to evaluate and measure results and analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.Lead the coaching of managers and supervisors to enhance their effectiveness in performance management, coaching conversations, and career development.Serve as the HR lead for the performance management software system including configuring forms, managing user access and training on the PMS platform.Collaborate with HR senior leadership on compensation related items to ensure the performance review cycle effectively links employee performance ratings and outcomes to merit increases, bonuses, and incentive programs.Collaborate with HR senior leadership, department and business unit leaders on succession planning initiatives to ensure a robust pipeline of talent.Develop and maintain company-wide standards for goal setting (i.e. SMART goals) and facilitate performance calibration sessions for leadership and managers.Develop and execute a comprehensive communication plan to ensure all team members and managers clearly understand performance management timelines, expectations, and changes.Guide and coach managers in diagnosing the root causes of underperformance and facilitating customized performance improvement plans (PIPs) aimed at driving sustained performance improvement.Administer spending against the departmental budget.Qualificationsu00a0u00a0u00a0To qualify for the role, you must haveBachelor's degree in human resources, Organizational Development, or a related field required.Minimum of 10 years of professional human resource administration required with experience in performance management.Strong understanding of performance metrics, employee development, and coaching puter proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including Excel.u00a0Skills and attributes for successAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines.Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.Motivated to grow and perform in a high-performance organizationExcellent inter-personal skills, organization skills, and strong analytical ability.Embrace change and seek feedback, with an innovation and improvement mindset.Ability to delegate tasks and ensure accountability, even with people who don't report directly to you.Ability to manage projects by organizing tasks, timelines, and resources,
