JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description As a Project Specialist, you will beresponsible for supporting the design, coordination, and execution ofBuilding Information Modeling (BIM) processes specifically for plumbingsystems. You will work closely with engineers and designers to developdetailed Revit models, ensuring that mechanical, electrical, andplumbing systems are accurately represented and well-coordinated withinthe project. Your role will contribute to enhancing project efficiency,collaboration, and overall quality. As part of EUA, a fully integratedarchitecture and engineering firm, BIM coordination is crucial infacilitating seamless collaboration across disciplines. Our holisticapproach to design requires accurate and efficient coordination betweenHVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and architectural systems,ensuring that all elements of a project are aligned from concept throughto completion. Key Responsibilities Plumbing Modeling: Create, manage,and maintain detailed Revit models for plumbing systems, from designdevelopment through to detailed documentation. Ensure that all modelscomply with industry standards and project specifications. BIMCoordination for MEP: Lead coordination efforts between plumbing systemswith other building systems. Facilitate and lead coordination and clashdetection meetings with internal teams and external consultants usingtools such as Navisworks and ACC BIM360. Ensure timely resolution ofclashes and conflicts by working closely with all project stakeholdersto deliver coordinated, conflict-free designs. Design Support: Assist inthe virtual design and layout of plumbing systems, providing support forsystem sizing, routing, and space management. Standards and QualityControl: Ensure adherence to BIM execution plans (BEP), managingproject-specific BIM standards for plumbing systems. Perform regularquality control checks on models to maintain accuracy and alignment withproject goals. Knowledge of EUA Standards: Ensure all plumbing modelsadhere to EUA's internal standards and best practices, maintainingconsistency, sustainability, and accuracy across all projects. Your workwill reflect EUA's commitment to high-quality, integrated design andengineering excellence. Training and Support: Provide technical supportto engineers and designers on Revit and BIM processes related toplumbing systems. Conduct training sessions on best practices andadvanced features in Revit. Data Management: Manage and organize allplumbing data within the BIM model, ensuring accurate data exchangebetween different teams and disciplines. Assist in integrating BIMmodels with project management and analysis software.
