Description SAIC is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Senior Network Engineer / Architect responsible for providing high quality networking engineering advisory services, network systems planning, integration, and architecture support for a C4ISR Program of Record within the Program Executive Office, Command, Control, Computers, Communications, and Intelligence (PEO C4I). As part of the team, you will be required to collaborate with others, as well as work individually on strategies, roadmaps and recommended solutions for the implementation of cloud solutions and hosted software application integration functions. In this role, the Network Engineer / Architect will Design, plan, and integrate Navy classified networks with other classified government networks. Additionally: u00b7 Provide specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, application & data migration techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. u00b7 Develop and conduct testing of navy networks and associated network routers. u00b7 Maintain technical expertise relevant industry standards in networks, design, and configuration; platform-, and software-as-a-service; automation; network routers, hypervisors; containers; virtual compute, storage, and networks; virtual infrastructure management; self-provisioning; and scaling. u00b7 Provide systems engineering activities such as Concept of Operations Formulation, Requirements Definition, Analysis and Engineering, System Architecting, System Analysis and Design, Interface and Data Architectures, Validation and Verification, System Integration, System & Op. Performance Analysis, Lifecycle Cost Analysis & Estimation, Decision Analysis and Physical Configuration Analysis (PCA). u00b7 Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. u00b7 Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and 5 years or more experience. Active TS/SCI and CI polygraph (or ability to obtain CI polygraph) Required Skills: u00b7 Experience in: Classified navy (afloat and ashore) and intelligence community networks, establishing peered networks and network routers. u00b7 Relevant experience leading/managing network development teams. Ideally at least 2 years knowledge in PaaS / IaaS / SaaS. u00b7 Understands network engineering concepts and related systems engineering processes. u00b7 Understanding of disconnected networks and limited bandwidth networks to include disconnected lab and production systems. u00b7 Strong communicator that can consult on technical discussions and provide technical recommendations across many levels of the program to include senior leadership. u00b7 Technical leadership and general problem solving related to software design, architecture, and execution in an oversight position u00b7 Ability to operate both independently and without direct supervision u00b7 Experience with DoD networks both WAN and LAN. u00b7 Experience with General Dynamics KG series TACLANES. u00b7 Working knowledge configuring Cisco networking devices including routers and switches using Cisco Command Line Interface (CLI). u00b7 Working knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 address allocation. u00b7 Working knowledge of networking protocols and their implementation to include L2VPN, L3VPN, OSPF, BGP, DMVPN, static routes. u00b7 Working knowledge of network security via firewalls (both software and hardware), ACLu2019s, port security, etc. u00b7 Experience with network testing/troubleshooting software tools such as iperf, nmap, wireshark, etc. u00b7 Experience with network testing hardware from vendors such as Spirent, Linktropy, etc. u00b7 Must have experience in trouble-shooting and fixing problems related to networks and their interaction with backend systems. Desired Skills and Certifications: u00b7 SAFe Agilist u00b7 Able to attain CSWF and IAT Level II Certifications (Security+) u00b7 Experience with DISA, ADNS, Triton and IC Networks u00b7 CCNP Cisco Certification u00b7 Demonstrated technical writing and briefing u00b7 Understanding of navy and intelligence network architectures. u00b7 Understanding of PEO C4I, NAVWAR, US Navy C4I systems. Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
