Overview Come join Intuit as a Staff Product Designer. As the mobile team we are shaping the future of the QuickBooks mobile app designed to enable mobile only users run their business through AI powered business tools, payments, and financial management. We are also the owners of the mobile native design system and have an exciting charter ahead of us to strengthen our platform capabilities and innovate by delivering delightful and durable experiences end-to-end experiences, enabling small businesses achieve financial growth and prosper, and expand our presence globally. Responsibilities + Use mobile-first strategic thinking and deep platform knowledge to solve complex user problems through clean, responsive, and emotionally resonant design including AI and agentic experiences on mobile + Own and visualize end-to-end experiences and ensures consistency of patterns, flows, and mental models across them. Lead key design initiatives from concept to delivery, crafting wireframes, visual designs, prototypes, and interaction models informed by customer insights and platform capabilities. + Directly responsible for conducting customer research, ground your decisions in research, behavioral data, and market and industry insights. + Translate strategic goals into measurable design outcomes, advocating for accessibility, data personalization, and inclusive experiences. Collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, marketing, and data scientists. + Leverage data and analytical tools to guide tests and innovations within design projects. + Contribute to and mentor others in design critiques, offering actionable, thoughtful feedback across interaction, visual, and motion design while utilizing facilitative leadership skills to drive to the best outcome for stakeholders, resulting in others learning from you, and inspiring others to want to work with you Qualifications + 9+ years of interface design experience in delivering high-volume, high-profile, or award-winning mobile products or experiences + Bacheloru2019s degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant fields; Masters preferred, or equivalent work experience + Deep understanding of native mobile interaction patterns, accessibility standards, and platform-specific HIG/Material Design guidelines + Demonstrated ability to deliver elegant, data-informed mobile experiences that balance user needs and business goals + Deep knowledge of user experience methods, innovation, ideation, storytelling, prototyping, design frameworks, concept visualization, problem-framing skills and design principles + Experience leading and delivering product experiences from product strategy to detailed execution via layout, typography, iconography, color theory, and composition. + Experience delivering detailed interaction designs, cohesive visual design deliverables with high attention to detail, and motion design for mobile is desired. + Demonstrated ability to connect the dots between big picture goals to sweating the nuanced details of discrete elements. + Exemplary ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across teams/groups/functions through facilitative leadership to deliver great results and to
