As a Field ServiceTechnician, you will assist with on-site installations, troubleshooting,repairs, and maintenance of telecommunications products and equipmentthat TDS sells and leases. You will have direct, face-to-face contactwith our customers and is expected to be proactive with the sales of TDSservices and products. Services include, but are not limited to,Telephony, Video/CATV/DBS, Internet, and/or high speed networks. Thisposition exceeds customer expectations by performing extraordinarycustomer service, identifying customer needs, and providing them withcommunications solutions. This position also understands how to use anddemonstrate TDS products and seeks sales opportunities while educatingthe customer. Products & services include (but are not limited to):Local Service, Central Office Services, Structured Cabling, MAC (Moves,Adds and Changes), Voice Mail, Audio and/or Video Conferencing andNon-regulated CPE. Due to in-field support and on-call requirements, theindividual selected for this position will be required to reside withina 60-minute driving distance from the Appleton, Wisconsin warehouselocated at: 2900 N Zuehlke Dr Ste B, Appleton, WI 54911. This positioncan be hired at either a Field Service Technician (requisition ID#2026-28541) or a Field Service Technician-Network (requisition ID#2025-28046) level depending on the skills and qualifications of thecandidate.
