Element has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our growing team in Irvine. Acting as the liaison between the client and the business, this fantastic opportunity will be responsible for the coordination and scheduling of external customer test requirements, from order acceptance through to test completion.Element Irvine provides EMI/EMC, Dynamics, & Environmental Test Services for the telecommunications (NEBS), commercial electronics, wireless, medical, and product safety industries.If you are not currently authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, Element Materials Technology will not consider your job application. Any candidate must be lawfully eligible to work in the US as a US Citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States.If you're interested in a rewarding and exciting career in the TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) industry, I encourage you to apply!Payrate: $28-33/hrCoordinate and schedule testing appointments for Irvine clients: develop and distribute finalized test schedulesWork closely with the laboratory team and customers to provide daily updates to the job status reportManaging expectations prior to and during testingProject delays and failures, including any additional costsPostponements/cancellations highlighted to Operations ManagerAssist in delivering monthly revenue targets and weekly forecastingEnsure managers are completing contract reviews in a timely mannerEnsure sales order acknowledgements are issued in a timely manner and customers are aware of their input requirementsProviding support to Sales team to meet customer test dates at enquiry and or quotation stageEfficient response times to Sales and customersOrganize and optimize office layout, monitor office supplies and equipment, and manage vendor and maintenance relationshipsEnsure that agreed metrics are achieved: revenue versus budget forecasts, On Time Delivery Metrics, and ‘First Time Right’ MetricsManage shipping, receiving, and storage of lab and client equipment, including coordinating equipment needs for projectsSupport 5s processPerform other duties or special projects as requiredExperience working within a technical environmentAbility to coordinate customer requirementsExposure to the materials testing environment and working with test results and quotations is significantly advantageousExperience managing the needs of various stakeholders including the customer, operations, technical teams and salesAbility to plan, organize and manage workload effectively within the defined area of responsibilityAbility to review performance, identify problems and contribute to solutionEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to apply logical reasoning and analytical thinking#LI-TF1#LI-TF1Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
