Racker provides progressive strength based preschool program; and early intervention and pre-school evaluations in Cortland, Tompkins and Tioga Counties. This position will be based in the Owego School Systems.Racker’s mission is to support people with disabilities and their families to lead fulfilling lives by providing opportunities to learn and be connected with others.TheSpeech Language Pathologistis responsible fordesigning and implementing astrengths-basedtherapeutic program for each assigned child that will promote learning and a positive self-imageallin accordance withRacker’svision and mission.In this position, you will work independently, and act as a collaborative part of the largereducational andclinical team at Racker.The Speech-Language Pathologist will incorporatesystemsadvocacy into their work to support students and the school community.The ideal candidate willpossessa strong clinical basis,appreciation for total communication, and an ability to bring playfulness into the work.We are committed to helping you grow and develop. Our classroom speech and language pathologists have an opportunity to work on an interdisciplinary team, receive mentoring and continuing education, and are provided with materials and technology for treatment and documentation.
