This role collaborates closely with Ownership to set goals and execute high-level initiatives, translating strategy into daily action.This position is also an active stylist role and will require approximately 15-20 hours per week behind the chair, delivering exceptional services, leading by example, and staying closely connected to the guest experience and Drybar standards.You will also partner closely with the Shop Educator to ensure the stylist team is supported, scheduled efficiently, and consistently meeting Drybar brand and service standards.Role ClarityShop Educator: Responsible for hiring and training stylistsShop Manager: Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and managing Front Desk Associates (“Bartenders”), and collaborating with the Shop Educator to optimize scheduling, performance, and standards across the entire teamKey ResponsibilitiesDailyOptimize labor and proactively manage staffing schedulesDrive revenue through coaching, real-time feedback, and leading by exampleUphold Drybar operational, brand, and service standardsSupport Shift Leads (as applicable) and provide hands-on leadershipMonitor KPIs and make real-time adjustmentsPartner with the Shop Educator to support stylist performance and standardsPerform services behind the chair as an active stylist (approximately 15-20 hours/week) and model Drybar service excellenceBi-Weekly/WeeklyPrepare timecardsReview and submit payroll reports to ownership prior to bi-weekly payroll processingRecognize team wins and review shop goalsMeet with Ownership and Leadership to align prioritiesSubmit reports, resolve discrepancies, and ensure complianceFoster engagement through team shoutouts and communicationAlign with the Shop Educator on staffing needs and performance trendsMonthlyCollaborate with the Shop Educator on mandatory trainings and performance check-insManage scheduling strategy to optimize performance and minimize labor wasteCoordinate shop events, contests, and hiring initiativesPartner with Leadership on strategy, team development, and operational improvementsOngoingDrive recruitment, onboarding, and complianceHire, coach, train, and manage Front Desk Associates (“Bartenders”)Support stylist development alongside the Shop EducatorExecute product launches, marketing standards, and service excellenceBuild a growth-focused, inclusive, and high-performing team cultureWhat Success Looks LikeLabor ratios consistently aligned with goals set in partnership with ownershipMonthly achievement of sales, membership, and guest satisfaction targetsA stable, engaged team with low turnoverStrong leadership presence, coaching ability, and operational excellenceConsistent representation of Drybar’s Heart & Soul valuesA shop known for professionalism, positivity, and elevated guest experience©2024 DB Franchise, LLC (“DBF”).
