Learn more at www.cretexmedical.com.Position SummaryThe Process Technician is responsible for the installation of molds, development of process parameters, support of validation activities, and troubleshooting production issues for new and existing tooling.Shifts Available:2nd shift: 2:00 pm-10:30 pm Mon-FriUtilize scientific molding principles to establish capable processes for new and existing toolingExecute validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) that comply with FDA regulationsTroubleshoot technical issues and lead root cause/corrective action investigationsSupport Operational Excellence by identifying and executing initiatives that lead to improved performanceProvide technical coaching and feedback to production employees and the support teamEnsure complex molds are installed and removed according to the setup sheets and instructionsInspect molded parts using basic metrology tools and equipmentEnsure no production time or yield is lost because of faulty setup Serve as a resource for Setup TechniciansHigh School Diploma or GED3 years of injection molding experience to include setup, cleanroom, medical polymers, and small-micro molded componentsUnderstand the rheology of polymersTroubleshoot issues using disciplined root cause analysis toolsUnderstand a variety of plastic injection molding machines and secondary operations equipmentAbility to read and understand quality plansStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience using part printsAbility to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents Mechanical AptitudeDexterity and hand and eye coordinationMicrosoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills Attention to detailOrganizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced team environmentAbility to prioritize and multitaskUSD $29.81 - USD $44.71 /Hr.This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
