The major areas include but are not limited to:recruiting and staffingperformance management and developmentemployment law and regulatory complianceemployee orientation, development and trainingpolicy development, documentation, implementation and adherenceemployee and labor relationsleaves of absence and unemploymentemployee safety, welfare, wellness and healthOversees HR Generalists and Recruiters, supporting and encouraging their ongoing developmentPrimary responsibility for all HR functions of the employment life cycle in the assigned marketsPartners with Training & Development on talent development & competencies evaluationsFosters relationships at all levels of T&C with in-market visibilityConducts HR-related investigations as requiredMediates difficult employee relations conversationsAdvises managers and supervisors in the use of progressive disciplineReviews, guides and approves management recommendations for employment terminations and reassignmentsDirects the preparation of information requested or required for complianceMaintains adherence to sustainability programs and all security and safety proceduresOperates from a guest-centered positionStays currentonemployment & labor laws andindustry trends, standards,and changesEnsures the disseminationofand adherence to all company and department policiesSupports and followssustainability programsandsafety and security policiesRole models attitude of service to staff andguestsOperates within and supports the Company’s Core Values, Company Brand, and Business PrinciplesSix plus years of applicable Human Resources generalist experience and three plus years of management experienceSPHR certification a plusBroad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, labor relations, employee relations, safety, and training and developmentExcellent interpersonal and coaching skillsDemonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resources staff membersExperience in the administration of Human Resources programs including labor contracts, benefits and compensation programsAbility to approach people-concerns with curiosity and not judgementExcellent negotiating and change management skillsDemonstrated discretion while practicing a high level of confidentialityPossesses engaging facilitation skillsAbility to effectively plan, organize, coordinate, support, and encouragethe activities of othersMust be a team player/leader/good role modelHasstrong businessand HR acumen with ability to solve problems and resolve conflictsAbility to independently prioritize workload;demonstrateinitiativeand managemultiple, competing priorities with attention to detailCan thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; ability to learn and adapt to shifting priorities whiledemonstratingcuriosityStrong interpersonal skillswith ability to connect at all levels of the companyMust havevery strongoral and written communication skillsMust have intermediate computer skills including MS Officeor higher, HRISMust have knowledge of federal,stateandcontractualemployment/labor lawsAbility to work flexible hours as neededAbility to travel to allmarketlocationsPossesses full body mobility (bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching)withexcellent manual dexterityExemplifies health department standardsAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and safe mannerUSD $91,000.00/Hr.USD $117,000.00/Hr.
