Join a fast-growing company that will value and leverage your B2B accounts receivable, finance, and customer relationship experience! GCG (Genuine Cable Group) is currently seeking aCredit and Collections Analyst to join our Finance team!In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of customer accounts in Accounts Receivable to assign credit parameters, collect amounts due to GCG, and expedite dispute resolution. You will also negotiate workout/settlement agreements in collaboration with our Sr Credit Manager.This role offers ahybrid work arrangementreporting to ourChicago, ILoffice up to 3 days a week after training has concluded.Office address:8550 W. Bryn Mawr Ave Chicago, ILSchedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00am CST to 4:00pm CST.What You’ll DoContact customers via phone, fax, and/or email regarding payment of balances owed to the companyWork with branches and sales teams to expedite dispute resolutionReview aging data to determine accounts needing follow-up collection activityReview questionable accounts for changes in their credit worthinessSend past due notices by fax, mail, or emailEstablish credit limits for new accounts based on historical credit informationProcess Sales Tax Exemption CertificatesWhat You’ll BringAssociate’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field preferred; relevant experienceworking in credit and/or accounts receivable in small and large industrial commercial businessAbility to multitask in a fast past environment.Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound independent judgmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate satisfactory business resolutionsProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and a variety of accounting systemsOracle experience is a plusWhat we offerCompetitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 depending on relevant experienceRobust and affordable benefits options, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability insurance, and morePTO plan with company paid holidays401K with employer contributionAn employee-centric company that values and truly appreciates our most important asset: You!About Genuine Cable Group (GCG)At GCG, our mission is to power, connect, and automate our world.
