Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our Transportation Sector. Under the direction of the Estimating Manager, this position serves as a key team member responsible for developing cost estimates. The role operates within the Program Management & Oversight Branch of the client's Office of Program Delivery.Works in the development of all capital cost estimates for the CAHSR from planning conceptual level to final design and construction cost estimates.Facilitates the development of information used to develop cost estimates with all internal and external stakeholders.Supports the development of the bi-annual Programmatic Business Plan capital cost estimates, Program Baselines and Project Update Reports.Supports the review of Contractor estimates and claims.Develop policies and procedures for programmatic cost estimatingPossesses knowledge of design and construction disciplines, including the means and methods used on the the client's Program and transit infrastructure projectsDemonstrates the ability to coordinate and utilize internal and external resources to develop accurate cost estimates within a schedule-driven program environmentPreferred Qualifications/ Certifications/ Licensures:Proficiency and knowledge of computer software applications Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and cost management softwareMust have 15+ years of estimating experience with minimum 10 years in transit work with typical project size over $1BBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Science/ManagementProfessional certification as cost estimator and/or engineer is preferableWork experience on large programs with proven track recordExperience in database driven estimating software (Timberline, Heavy Bid, H C S S , Onscreen Takeoff, etc.)Experience with analyzing, reviewing, and estimating of change orders and good negotiations skillsAbility to produce oral and written presentation to client and other stakeholdersStrong work experience with MS Office applicationSalary Range: $130,300 - $241,055 per yearLocation: Sacramento, CAWork Environment: HybridCordoba Corporation, Making a DifferenceCordoba Corporation is a leading civil engineering, construction management, program management, and planning firm.
