Overview Location: 1530 FM 973, Taylor, TX 76574 Shift: SEASONAL 8 WEEK PROJECT, 1st shift - 6:00am-5:00pm 2nd shift - 1:30pm-12:00am Hours Subject to change based on client needs Pay: $30/hr OSHA 10 REQUIRED Experience highly preferred Position Overview: Become a key member of our cleaning team as a supervisor at the Samsung Taylor Semiconductor Facility. As a supervisor, youu2019ll be the responsible leader for a variety of cleaning and preparation tasks essential to maintaining a safe, contamination-controlled environment, especially during the critical u201csuper cleanu201d phase prior to tool installation. This role involves detailed work in a high- tech, large-scale construction setting and supervising your own crew ranging from 15 to 30 employees. Please note: This position operates in an active construction environment that can be noisy, dusty, muddy, and subject to varying weather conditions. Air conditioning may be limited or unavailable in many work areas and restroom facilities are limited to on-site portable units. Candidates should be prepared to work in these conditions without requiring additional accommodations. Key Job Functions and Responsibilities: u25cf Supervise and coordinate cleaning teams on construction sites to ensure all areas meet cleanliness and safety standards. u25cf Assign daily cleaning tasks and set clear expectations for team members. u25cf Inspect work areas to verify completion and quality of cleaning, including debris removal, dust control, and restroom maintenance. u25cf Ensure compliance with all safety policies, use of PPE, and site-specific protocols. u25cf Train new cleaners on procedures, equipment use, and hazard awareness. u25cf Respond promptly to urgent clean-up needs or spills as directed by site management. u25cf Maintain supply inventory and request additional materials or equipment as needed. u25cf Communicate regularly with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors about site conditions and progress. u25cf Complete and submit daily logs or reports summarizing activities, issues, and completed work. u25cf Address and resolve team member concerns or performance issues in a timely and professional manner. u25cf Support site safety initiatives by reporting hazards or unsafe practices. u25cf Uphold company values of reliability, teamwork, and customer service at all times. u25cf Conduct u201csuper cleanu201d activities such as: I. Wiping down all accessible surfaces (including MEP, piping, conduit, cable trays, ductwork, equipment, and structural steel) with lint-free polymer wipes saturated with deionized (DI) water to remove dust, residue, and particulate matter. II. Cleaning overhead structures and equipment using specialized tools (extension poles, lifts) and ensuring proper use of fall protection. III. Vacuuming floors, walls, and equipment using HEPA-filtered vacuums to capture fine particles. IV. Cleaning and polishing stainless steel surfaces, cleanroom panels, and tool pads. V. Removing protective films, stickers, and construction masking from floors, walls, and equipment. VI. Mopping and scrubbing floors with auto-scrubbers and approved cleaning agents. VII. Cleaning under raised floors, inside pits, and other hard-to-reach areas using personal fall protection. VIII. Performing particulate and contamination checks as instructed. IX. Documenting cleaning activities and reporting completion or issues to supervisors. u25cf Train staff how to operate and maintain cleaning equipment: floor scrubbers, HEPA vacuums, scissor lifts, and hand tools. u25cf Train staff how to act as a spotter for equipment operation and team safety. u25cf Train staff how to follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, fall protection, and safe work practices at heights. u25cf Train staff how to monitor site entry points to ensure all personnel are wearing required cleanroom attire and following access protocols. u25cf Train staff how to support other project phases and complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors. Education and Experience: u25cf High school diploma or GED preferred. u25cf Prior experience in construction cleaning, cleanroom environments is an advantage. u25cf Experience with detailed or contamination-control cleaning is highly desirable. u25cf Comfortable working at heights, using fall protection, and operating lifts (training provided if needed). u25cf Familiarity with HEPA vacuums, polymer wipes, auto-scrubbers, and cleanroom protocol is a strong plus. u25cf Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work for extended periods on feet, and adapt to a fast- paced construction environment. u25cf Strong attention to detail, safety orientation, and teamwork required.
