This role involves overseeing staff, supervising and coordinatingprograms and personnel to ensure highest level of customer service and satisfaction. This positionrequires coordination with all departments of El Paso Water Parks and ensures proper and efficientoperation, care and maintenance of the facilities.Essential Duties & Responsibilitiesu2022 Welcome guests to our El Paso Waterparks in a warm friendly manner.u2022 Assists in overseeing daily operation of the guest services department.u2022 Assists in coordination of department schedules.u2022 Ability to problem solve and react quickly to guests needs.u2022 Complete daily tasks and checks lists regarding cash handling, opening, and closing procedures asneeded.u2022 Ability to implement strategic sales initiatives as trained by Guest Service supervisor orManagement.u2022 Ability to implement strategic sales initiatives training with Guest Service staff members.u2022 Ensures Guest Services employees rotation and breaks are done efficiently.u2022 Explain various ticket and season pass purchase options and stay up to date with ticket prices, parkoperation and policies.u2022 Initiates conversation with guests, maintaining proper eye contact and providing relevantinformation regarding attractions, park information, and special events.u2022 Ability to assist with and/or act as the host for daily operations for birthday parties, Cabana Rentals,or any Special Groups or events.u2022 Responsible for cash/credit card handling and end of day reconciliation of all admissions and retailsales and Food & Beverage.u2022 Ability to conduct audits within the department.Guest Service Lead El Paso Water Parks Revised 01/06/26u2022 Responsible for the care and upkeep of issued equipment.u2022 Participate in service training programs for safety, and customer service.u2022 Serve in a public information/relations capacity.u2022 Report irregularities, discrepancies, damage, and loss of property and safety concerns promptly tosupervisor.u2022 Follow and enforce all sanitation procedures including safety guidelines and OSHA requirements .u2022 Stay current with all training policies and procedures.u2022 Enforce El Paso Water Parks & Legends Global safety standards.u2022 Complete all required company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.u2022 Adheres to company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.u2022 Welcome and ensure that guests receive outstanding customer service by providing a friendly, fun,safe environment.u2022 Maintains high standards, positive attitude, and professional appearance.u2022 Attend staff meetings and daily stand-ups. Develop and maintain a harmonious working relationshipwith all other departments.u2022 Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.u2022 Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications & Skillsu2022 Must be 16 years of age or older required.u2022 Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions.u2022 Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.u2022 When required, must work outdoors in various weather conditions to ensure a wonderful experiencefor guests.u2022 Effective Communication and interpersonal skillsu2022 Must be able to obtain or have a current Food Handleru2019s certificate.u2022 Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.u2022 Computer knowledge and typing skillsMinimum Education & Experienceu2022 Working towards a High School Diploma or GED preferredu2022 1-2 years in customer service and/or related puter Skillsu2022 Operate a computer using Windows, Microsoft Office, and other standard office equipmentpreferred.u2022 Experience in operating a POS (Point of Sale) System preferred.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job.
