If youu2019re passionate about making therapy an adventure in recovery and helping clients reclaim the moments that matter most, youu2019ll find your purpose here Make an Impact in our Home and Community Program: Who we are looking for: + An skilled COTA, enthusiastic about providing functional rehabilitation wherever life happens, whether at home, school, work, or in the community + You are ready to treat your client beyond a staged environment into real life experiences like cooking in their kitchen, navigating grocery stores, restaurants, outdoor activities, and the workplace + You thrive in an autonomous setting, and value being a part of a collaborative team of dynamic therapists What you will receive: + Flexible Schedule Created by You + Paid per hour (not just per visit) + Driving, Travel, Mileage Reimbursement + Educational Programs + Growth/Advancement Opportunities + No Holidays or Weekends Required Responsibilities + Assisting the Occupational Therapist in the implementation of vocational and educational activities designed to restore and reinforce individuals' task performance and promote their overall health and self-sufficiency + Designing and adapting equipment for working and living environments, including fabricating assistive devices to improve participation in the program and/or community + Conducting community reintegration activities to assist individuals with their occupational therapy needs during physical activity + Providing training to individuals and any others involved in their rehabilitation, and documenting results of the training + Supporting individuals' plan of treatment by documenting and reporting status changes to the rehabilitation specialist, clinical coordinator, attending physician, and other treatment team members as appropriate + Other duties as assigned Qualifications + Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program + Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification + Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and neuro-rehabilitation techniques + Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience assisting in the assessment and management of traumatic brain injury or related neurological conditions + Current CPR certification + Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques About our Line of Business Rehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
