AR Analyst

Description We are looking for a meticulous and driven Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our finance team in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a key part in managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and contributing to accurate financial reporting. Collaborating across departments, youu2019ll focus on improving AR processes and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. If not, for immediate consideration, please apply or call Warren Knight at 484-214-2624 Responsibilities: u2022 Analyze customer accounts to support the timely collection of outstanding balances. u2022 Prepare and reconcile aging reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. u2022 Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, deductions, short payments, and chargebacks. u2022 Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting. u2022 Monitor customer payment behaviors and contribute to credit risk assessments. u2022 Partner with Sales and Customer Service teams to address billing and account-related issues. u2022 Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards. u2022 Participate in initiatives to improve AR processes and enhance system efficiency. u2022 Provide documentation and respond to inquiries during audits. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting, preferably in manufacturing. u2022 Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and formulas. u2022 Familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms. u2022 Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and revenue recognition principles. u2022 Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. u2022 Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
