Description We are looking for a motivated Director of Business Development to join our non-profit organization in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is pivotal in driving fundraising initiatives, cultivating donor relationships, and identifying new opportunities for financial growth. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to help expand our impact and advance our mission. Responsibilities: u2022 Identify and secure funding opportunities through research, outreach, and networking with corporate, foundation, and individual donors. u2022 Develop and implement fundraising campaigns, annual appeals, and events to drive donor engagement. u2022 Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners to ensure long-term support. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align fundraising strategies with organizational objectives. u2022 Oversee donor database management, ensuring accurate records and timely acknowledgments. u2022 Monitor and analyze fundraising revenue and expenses to support financial planning. u2022 Prepare comprehensive reports for grants and donor requirements, ensuring compliance and timely submissions. u2022 Coordinate with marketing teams to create impactful communications, donor materials, and promotional campaigns. u2022 Manage community outreach efforts to enhance the organizationu2019s visibility and engagement. u2022 Support the development and optimization of internal processes for effective fundraising operations. Requirements u2022 Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or a related field. u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, fundraising, or a similar role. u2022 Proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders. u2022 Strong project management skills with a detail-oriented and analytical approach. u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. u2022 Experience with donor database management and reporting. u2022 Proficiency in digital marketing and fundraising platforms. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to a dynamic environment.
