Supply Chain Manager

Description We are looking for a skilled Supply Chain Manager for an Oconomowoc, WI area organization. The ideal candidate will oversee and optimize supply chain processes, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. This role requires expertise in logistics, procurement, and global supply chain management. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain processes. u2022 Manage procurement activities, including purchase requests, vendor negotiations, and contract management. u2022 Analyze and improve logistics operations to ensure timely delivery and cost optimization. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align supply chain activities with business objectives. u2022 Monitor global supply chain trends and adapt strategies to address challenges and opportunities. u2022 Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies throughout the supply chain. u2022 Utilize data-driven approaches to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. u2022 Lead and mentor a team to achieve departmental goals and maintain high performance standards. u2022 Coordinate inventory management to balance supply and demand effectively. u2022 Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable sourcing. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement. u2022 Strong knowledge of global supply chain operations and best practices. u2022 Proficiency in analyzing data to drive decision-making and process improvements. u2022 Excellent communication and negotiation skills for engaging with vendors and stakeholders. u2022 Familiarity with inventory management principles and tools. u2022 Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve objectives. u2022 Solid understanding of compliance requirements within supply chain operations. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field preferred.
