Principal Software Engineer

Description We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join a client here in Boston. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing innovative AI-driven solutions for the healthcare industry. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and lead the development of robust, scalable systems. Responsibilities: u2022 Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create AI-powered solutions tailored for healthcare applications. u2022 Implement front-end components using React.js to ensure seamless user interactions. u2022 Optimize system performance and ensure high availability across all deployed solutions. u2022 Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices within the development team. u2022 Lead code reviews to maintain high standards of software quality and reliability. u2022 Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS services. u2022 Mentor engineers who are newer to the field, fostering a culture of learning and innovation. u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner. u2022 Stay informed about emerging trends in AI tools and integrate them into the development process as needed. Requirements u2022 A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering with attention to detail. u2022 Strong expertise in backend development, particularly with Node.js and TypeScript. u2022 Proficiency in front-end technologies, including React.js and JavaScript. u2022 Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS. u2022 Familiarity with AI tools and their application in software development. u2022 A proven track record of designing and delivering scalable, high-performance systems. u2022 Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. u2022 Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor and guide other team members.
