Entry Level Transportation/ Civil Engineer

Jacobs is seeking an Entry Level Transportation/ Civil Engineer to join our Highway/ Roadways team in St. Louis, MO, working on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clientsu2019 challenges locally and this position you will work with a multidisciplinary team taking on a variety of tasks that blend your theoretical knowledge with practical application. Under the guidance of professional engineers, architects and other senior technical staff you will provide design and engineering services for highways, expressways, and major road networks.Your responsibilities will include: Utilizing CADD to prepare various engineering drawings, layouts, and/or models to communicate project details in accordance with established standards and procedures; Participating in project meetings Assist in providing technical and operational support for exposure to: Highway engineering principles, standards, and practices Project Delivery for key clients (including the design, environmental, and procurement processes) Preparation of right-of-way plans, detailed roadway designs, drainage, floodplain management, and intersection improvementsThis position demands a results-driven, client-focused professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a strong work ethic.
