Schedule: PRN Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 23401 PRAIRIE STAR PKWY City: LENEXA State: Kansas Postal Code: 66227 Job Description: + Supports the surgeon and/or qualified first assistant during procedures by performing tasks such as sponging, suctioning, cutting sutures, holding retractors, and manipulating the endoscopic camera. + Monitors conditions in the operating room, assesses needs of the patient and surgical team, and obtains additional instruments, supplies, and equipment as necessary. + Supervises other healthcare team members in the surgical environment, providing orientation, training, and education to new personnel. + Promotes a safe environment, takes appropriate action in emergency situations, and ensures adherence to regulatory standards and policies. + Other duties as assigned.
