Cleveland Clinic Florida is looking to add a Physical Therapist to the team who will work in an outpatient setting, rotating between Rehabilitation Services at Tiffany and St. Lucie West. As a Physical Therapist, you willutilizevarious exercises to help patients increase strength, range of motion,enduranceand coordination.Because this position requires close interaction, you have the opportunity to build strong relationships with both patients and their families.Often, your patients are dealing with pain, so sensitivity is important.Ultimately, yourunconditional support and reassurance can drive them to work hard and regain their health.A PRN caregiver in this position worksup to 40 hours per week Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Tiffany and Tuesday and Thursday at St. Lucie West, from 8:00AM - 4:30PM.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment terpret plans and supervise patient treatmentsin accordance withthephysicianreferral, ensuring the care,safetyand wellbeing of the patient.Review and evaluate the patient's response orlack thereoftotreatment.Make recommendations to the physicianrelativeto the need to continue ordiscontinuephysical therapy treatment.Provideappropriate documentationof eachpatientvisitin accordance withdepartmental policies and procedures.Be responsible forthe maintenance and care of all equipment and apparatus.Be responsible forthe economical use of supplies,linensand utilities.Provideappropriate billingfor each patient visitin accordance withdepartmental policies and procedures.Assistin on-the-job training of all ancillary personnel.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor’s Degree or certificateGraduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association or related international degreeCurrent state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red CrossInternship experiencePreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Experience in an acute-care settingPersonal Protective Equipment:Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.Pay RangeSalaries [which may be] shown on independent job search websites reflect various market averages and do not represent information obtained directly from The Cleveland Clinic.
