Currently we are seeking a candidate to join our United States Generator Rental team as au00a0Generator Shop Diesel Technician. This position may also require but not limited to the following duties, field service repairs, re-fueling, delivering and picking up portable generators, technical support and some travel as needed. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES + Trouble shoot and makes repairs to generator fleet. + Working with operations manager and generator fleet manager to prioritize repairs + Ordering of parts for repairs + Must be able to operate a forklift + Must be able to assist field operations when needed. + Ability to drive a company vehicle. + On call rotation once approved to work in field COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS: + Must have extensive knowledge of diesel engines + Generator experience a plus.u00a0 + Is able to read and interpret wiring diagrams + Working knowledge of both Isuzu, Cat, Cummins, Doosan, MQ, MMD, Volvo, and John Deere engines and generators a plus.u00a0 + Able to use computer and related software to trouble shoot engine and generator controls + Must have mechanical background. + Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
