Business Analyst

Remitly, Inc. seeks a Business Analyst to provide quantitative analysis related to current market competition, market/customer trends, and overall strategy within specific corridors and the wider AMER business. Analyze regional volume, revenue, and profitability, identifying drivers and translating into actions to grow the business. Collaborate with managers to translate strategy into specific goals across marketing, product, analytics and customer service. Analyze X-regional or regional-specific business manager projects to meet the broader goals of the AMER and global Remitly business. Collaborate with the analytics team to deliver complex customer and market analysis to obtain insights and develop executional plans across marketing, product, customer service, and other teams.Position requires a Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field, and 2 years of experience with developing business strategies based on complex business analytics. Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: regression analysis, test design, hypothesis testing, and applying statistical techniques to solve business problems; data visualization tools, including Tableau, VBA, Sisense, and Periscope; BI and reporting tools, including Excel, OBIEE, and BO; and Agile methodology, data warehousing, ETL, Google Analytics, PowerBI, Python, Qlik Sense, R, and SQL.
