Description We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations for a large-scale workforce based in Columbus, Ohio. This role requires an individual with strong attention to detail who can oversee payroll processes, ensure compliance across multiple states, and manage a team effectively. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate payroll systems and fostering organizational efficiency. Responsibilities: u2022 Supervise and oversee payroll processing for a workforce of approximately 9,500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. u2022 Manage and mentor direct reports within the payroll team, encouraging growth and collaboration. u2022 Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations and organizational policies. u2022 Handle bi-monthly payroll cycles efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met. u2022 Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll operations and maintain accurate records. u2022 Resolve payroll-related issues promptly, providing effective solutions to employees and management. u2022 Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance payroll efficiency and compliance. u2022 Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes. u2022 Monitor payroll activities daily to identify and address discrepancies or concerns. u2022 Lead initiatives to improve payroll systems and procedures, ensuring scalability and reliability. Requirements u2022 Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll processes for large employee groups. u2022 Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance requirements. u2022 Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software. u2022 Ability to handle bi-monthly payroll cycles with accuracy and efficiency. u2022 Expertise in managing payroll for teams exceeding 500 employees. u2022 Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach. u2022 Strong leadership capabilities to manage and develop a payroll team. u2022 Effective communication skills to liaise with employees and organizational leaders.
