SQL Server DBA

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a SQL Server DBA to support a VA State Agency and assume core database administration responsibilities for its internal SQL Server environment. This person will work closely with internal development teams, support application teams, and manage SQL Server clustering, patching, troubleshooting, and security reporting. The ideal candidate is a handsu2011on admin who can diagnose issues independently and keep missionu2011critical systems running smoothly. The pay rate for this role is 55-65 an hour, based on the candidate's years of experience. u2003 Day to Day u2022 Administer, maintain, install, configure, patch, and upgrade SQL Server environments. u2022 Support developers with SQL needs, queries, and script execution. u2022 Proactively monitor and troubleshoot SQL and connectivity issues. u2022 Oversee SQL Server Agent jobs and automation using SSMS/Visual Studio tools. u2022 Install, manage, and patch midu2011tier components. u2022 Serve as primary escalation point for SQL-related issues.
