Are you living your life's work? Pennsylvania Hospital is seeking a full-time day APP Hospitalist to join their team. Pennsylvania Hospital, the nation's first hospital, is a 515-bed acute care facility that provides a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic medical services and functions as a major teaching and clinical research institution. Pennsylvania Hospital (PAH) is part of the University of Pennsylvania Health System and is located at 8th and Spruce Streets in the historic Society Hill district of Philadelphia. The Hospitalist group at Pennsylvania Hospital is a well-established, stable, and respected group who value high quality patient care. Pennsylvania Hospital has a closed ICU, with an open Intermediate Critical Care Unit. Occasional procedures are required. Duties will include _:_ u00b7 Inpatient rounding on general medicine patients u00b7 Medicine consults u00b7 Providing continuous inpatient coverage on the units and in observation u00b7 Admissions to the general medicine service u00b7 Conduct in-patient rounds u00b7 Conduct history and physical on patients on medicine service u00b7 Evaluation and treatment of patients u00b7 Coordination of admissions and discharge planning u00b7 Issuing orders for medications, treatments and lab tests u00b7 Write discharge summaries Candidates may apply online or send CV's directly to Maggie Harmon, Physician Recruiter, at . u00b7 Current licensure as an RN and Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. u00b7 Acute Care Board Certification Required.
