Theintern will work closely with an experienced Biostatistician toparticipate in statistical research related to analytical or clinicaldevelopment, or post-marketing of oncology screening, diagnostic, ortherapy selection products. The individual will collaborate withinternal team members in the design, statistical analysis, reporting,and potential publication of one or more clinical research studies.Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to, the following: Applystatistical methodologies and perform analysis of non-clinical orclinical study data and present results to a cross-functional teamDemonstrate working knowledge of a wide variety of principles, theoriesand concepts in statistics and experimental design; must be able toapply them to the development and analysis of studies specific tomolecular diagnostics Summarize the work for future departmental use andpotentially produce a peer-reviewed publication Attend seminars andother department activities to enhance the understanding of daily workof biostatisticians Conduct analyses using SAS and/or R Apply basicstatistical methodology learned in an academic setting to a real-worldindustry setting Display strong communication skills with the ability tointerpret results to both technical and non-technical audiences Exercisestrong organizational skills with an emphasis on reproducibility andtraceability of project work and program files Uphold company missionand values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, andteamwork.
