JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking Professional CSMU (Customer ServiceModernization and Upgrades) Electrical Controls Engineer with experiencein Controls Engineering for a position based in Grand Rapids, MI, withup to 50% travel to customer locations in the USA. Ideal candidates willhave expertise in planning, schematic and panel assembly drawings,working with PLCs (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens), HMIs, VFDs, andimplementing and commissioning engineering design projects.Responsibilities include leading the design of semi-complex/complexsystems that integrate hardware and software, completing schematics andcontrol panel designs, performing standard professional work, andsupporting material specification, schematic preparation,bill-of-materials development, and follow-up. We offer: This is What you Will Doin This Role: Project budgeting, on-site and design work scheduling andtracking, along with project risk analysis and the implementation ofsolutions to mitigate risks are crucial aspects for this position. Worksto meet deadlines and deliverables, achieve budget, and manage risk withteam leads. Participates in recommending ideas related to productivityimprovement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.Performs important areas of standard professional level work thattypically requires processing and interpreting more complex, lessclearly defined issues. Collaborate with other divisions within Dematicand external third-party vendors to plan and execute projects. Capableof solving complex or unusual problems related to Hardware and/orSoftware. Leads complex projects through the project lifecycle,including delegating project tasks accordingly. Performs site-audits atinitiation of project to gather site information and confirm scope.Review & report feedback of site readiness Audits (commissioningchecklist/instructions). Performs on-site commissioning activitiesindependently or as part of a team. Owns the Commissioning Plan andSchedule.
