Join our Clinal Services team as our newMDS Coordinator today A few details about the role: Participate withmembers of the interdisciplinary team to review, plan, coordinate andevaluate resident's care. Documents the resident's condition andnursing needs accurately and in a timely manner. Reports pertinentobservations and reactions regarding residents in a timely manner.Oversee and provide leadership and discipline to licensed practicalnurses and certified nursing aides. Develop, direct, and monitor nursingassistant assignments adjusting based on census and level of carerequired. Execute treatments as necessary while document status andobserves reactions to medications and treatments. Initiate physicianorders, verify all orders received are transcribed accurately inelectronic records and treatment plan, administer medications, andprovide treatments according to orders. Facilitate communication withfamilies regarding change in medications and/or changes in the resident.Establish protocol to ensure care plans are continually reviewed forupdated and accurate data that represents the individuality of theresident. And here's what you need to apply: Nursing diploma orassociate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program isrequired. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. One-year experience workingin a long-term care facility. Certifications and Registered Nurselicense and other licensure required by state regulations.
