Scope ofPractice: Occupational Health + Urgent Care Shift: 4-6/month CenterHours: Mon-Fri 8a-5p Coverage provided across our Milwaukee marketSchedule provided in advance Responsibilities Administers prescribedmedications and treatments in accordance with approved nursingtechniques and protocols. Observes and evaluates patient, recordscondition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidentsEvaluates outcome of patient care Performs physical examinations andpreventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructionsof physician. May direct nursing care through nursing staff Prescribesor recommends drugs or other forms of treatment such as physicaltherapy, inhalation therapy or related therapeutic procedures. Arrangesreferrals, consultations, therapeutic services and confers with otherspecialists on course of care and treatment. Draws blood and preparesappropriate paperwork for laboratory pick-up. Performs urine drugscreens, using proper chain of custody; ensures preparation for pick-upand shipment to appropriate laboratory. Assists in medical recordmaintenance by keeping health, administrative, and program recordsonsite, safeguarding confidentiality of employee health information.Dispenses medications as directed by practitioner and in accordance withstate regulations.
