Paralegal - Business Immigration

Description Our client is seeking an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal to join their law firm in Columbia, SC, Charleston, SC, or Greenville SC. This role focuses on supporting the firm's immigration practice by preparing, filing, and monitoring various immigration applications and petitions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in employment-based immigration processes and a strong ability to manage case files efficiently. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and file immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions, labor certification cases, and adjustment of status applications. u2022 Analyze and compile case details and supporting documents to draft comprehensive reports and immigration materials. u2022 Organize and maintain case files, ensuring deadlines are tracked and inquiries are addressed promptly. u2022 Collaborate with clients, beneficiaries, attorneys, and government agencies to facilitate effective communication. u2022 Draft immigration-related correspondence, including support letters and key documentation, for attorney review. u2022 Assist attorneys by providing guidance to support staff and contributing to the development of streamlined workflows. u2022 Monitor case progress and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies. u2022 Deliver exceptional client service through thorough and proactive case management. u2022 Take on additional tasks as required to support the firm's operational goals. Requirements u2022 2+ years of experience working in immigration law or employment-based immigration cases. u2022 Strong understanding of immigrant and non-immigrant visa processes, including eligibility to work in the U.S., L1, E2, TN, I-140, and I-485. u2022 Proficiency in handling labor certification cases and filing petitions with relevant government agencies. u2022 Familiarity with immigration case management systems like LawLogix. u2022 Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and case files. u2022 Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting correspondence and interacting with clients. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, staff, and external stakeholders. u2022 Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
