Overview Position: Staff Pharmacist Location: Orlando, FL Schedule: Per Diem Compensation: $65 per hour Select Specialty Hospital u2013 Orlando Central is a 31-bed free-standing critical illness recovery hospital. We specialize in helping critically ill patients breathe, speak, eat, walk and think as independently as possible. Our hospital also offers medical rehabilitation through Select Medical Rehabilitation, a 32-bed acute rehabilitation unit. The unit is designed to meet an individualu2019s rehabilitation needs and goals through a range of programs and services. Part time/Per Diem positions are eligible for 401k based on reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or subsequent calendar year. + Your Impact Matters: Join a team of over 44,000 committed to providing exceptional patient care Responsibilities + As the Pharmacist, you will be responsible for having a working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture. + Providing clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast paced environment. + Maintaining adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times. + Correctly informing and instructing patients on any drugs to be used after they are discharged. + Developing and participating in new employee training and education programs. + Participating in patient drug therapy monitoring. + Promoting an environment of continuous quality improvement. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications + Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure. + Current State licensure required. + BLS if required by State. Preferred Qualifications + Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency.
